1. Run a file scan

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  2. Type cmd, then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open an elevated Command Prompt.
  3. Type the script below and hit Enter.

  4. Follow any prompts, restart your computer, and check if the right-click menu is still stuck on the screen.

2. Run the online virus scan

  3. Select Advanced system settings.
  4. Click the Settings button under the Performance category.
