Clash of Clans is probably one of the most popular video games on mobile devices. The free-to-play strategy game is so popular that people are often looking for similar games on Windows.

Currently, Clash of Clans runs on Android and iOS, and basically, you can download the game on any modern smartphone. The game was released in 2012, and it has been updated ever since, but it should work on any Android version. Or at least, on any modern Android.

However, there are a lot of people who would love to play Clash of Clans on Windows 11, even though the game is not currently supported on Windows.

My understanding is that Windows 11 supports/will support running android apps. I saw this asked a few years ago here and here. Surely nobody from supercell will see this, but what would you guys think about finally being able to play Clash of Clans on PC without the use of an emulator.

Clash of Clans on Windows 11?

Officially, you can play Clash of Clans on Windows 11. The game is not supported on this operating system, and the developers seemingly have no intentions of porting it to Windows 11.

However, you can try an Android emulator. Or more, depending on the time. But you should try to install an Android emulator on your Windows 11, and then install Clash of Clans, and see if it works.clash of clans windows 11

Windows 11 also has an excellent Windows Subsystem for Android platform, which lets you use Android apps on the operating system. You can try to see if that works too.

However, if you run into any issues with the game, you should know that there isn’t any official walkthrough or solutions for the issues you experience.

With that being said, there is still no news regarding the portability of this game on Windows 11. There could be if there is a high demand for it, but otherwise, it’s very unlikely this will happen.

There is a very popular choice of getting PC and console games on mobile. For example, let’s take a look at Diablo. While Blizzard made Diablo a PC/console franchise, they ventured into mobile territory with Diablo: Immortal.

The game is still very popular on mobile devices, despite the release of Diablo IV earlier this year. So, sometimes it’s better to expand your games to mobile devices. But the other way around? Not so popular.

The reason is somewhat natural: mobile gamers are not PC/console gamers. They are casual gamers, the ones that play while they wait for other things. So in the end, it wouldn’t be a profitable decision. Or even a wise business decision. But that might change.
